CONSTRUCTION ASSIGNMENTS

Brand refresh, website design and ongoing site management for a leading client-side project management consultancy in the Australian construction and property sector.

Construction Assignments is a respected Australian client-side project management consultancy working across construction, development, hotels, residential, education, health, infrastructure and mixed-use property projects.

Founded by Drenka Andjelic in 2006, the business has built a reputation for smart project delivery, trusted relationships and a very human approach to construction management. Drenka was the first woman in Australia to found and solely own a client-side project management business, and her leadership continues to shape the culture, tone and direction of the company.

After working with two other agencies without finding the right fit, Construction Assignments came to Ludbrook Agency looking for a website and digital identity that could properly reflect the personality, professionalism and energy of the business.

The Challenge

Construction Assignments had already been through a frustrating process before they came to us. They needed more than a standard corporate website. They needed a creative partner who could understand the nuance of the business: technically capable, commercially serious, but also warm, direct and full of character.

The site needed to present Construction Assignments as a highly experienced client-side project management consultancy while avoiding the dry, generic language often used in the construction and property sector. It also needed to support a growing body of project updates, team content, news and service information, giving the internal team a platform that could evolve with the business.

For a company working across complex construction and development projects, clarity mattered. The website needed to help prospective clients understand the breadth of the team’s expertise, the quality of their project experience and the strength of their client relationships.

The Approach

We developed a refreshed digital identity and custom WordPress website that balanced industry credibility with the distinctive tone of the Construction Assignments brand.

The design approach was confident, editorial and image-led, allowing the team, projects and voice of the business to come through clearly. Instead of forcing the company into a conventional project management template, we created a website that felt specific to Construction Assignments — professional, energetic, people-focused and highly usable.

The site structure was designed to support multiple content types, including projects, team profiles, news, testimonials and service pages. This gave the business flexibility to keep adding depth over time, without the website becoming cluttered or difficult to manage.

Because Construction Assignments works across the built environment, the content needed to speak to investors, developers, consultants and project partners while still feeling approachable. The result is a website that communicates capability without losing the culture and personality that makes the business memorable.

Ongoing Site Management

Our work with Construction Assignments has continued well beyond the original website launch.

We manage the website on an ongoing basis, making regular updates to projects, posts, news items and core site content. As the business has evolved, we have also added new sections, including expanded service content, to help the website remain current and useful.

This long-term relationship has allowed the site to keep pace with the company. New project wins, team updates, industry involvement and business milestones can be added quickly and consistently, helping Construction Assignments maintain a strong and active digital presence.

The relationship has become a genuine collaboration. Construction Assignments treats us as part of the extended team, inviting us to staff events and involving us in the ongoing development of the website as the business grows.

The Outcome

The finished website gave Construction Assignments a digital presence that finally felt aligned with the business: confident, capable, warm and distinctive.

The project succeeded because it captured both sides of the company — the serious expertise required to manage complex construction and development projects, and the generous, people-first culture that has helped Construction Assignments build long-term trust with clients and collaborators.

The website now works as a living platform for the business. It supports new services, project updates, team content, news and ongoing communication, while giving prospective clients a clear understanding of who Construction Assignments are and how they work.

For Ludbrook Agency, this project is also a strong example of the value of long-term website partnerships. A good website is not always finished at launch. For a successful, active business, it needs to keep moving — and Construction Assignments has continued to invest in a site that reflects the momentum, reputation and personality of the company.

TESTIMONIAL

“The Ludbrook Agency excite and deliver. Our branding and website journey before Ludbrook saw us through two other outfits over two years who consistently fell short of meeting our brief. The point of difference is that they got us. They listened, they responded, and they left us feeling very proud of the end-product. We look forward to our continued website development and updates with them. A sincere thank you Kirsty and Richard.”
